Employment Information
Being on staff is hard work but very rewarding. The hours are long and demanding, yet the gratification of making a difference in campers' lives is priceless. Each day, staff members lead campers in numerous activities as well as supervise them in cabins. Staff must work closely with other staff members, possess a strong Christian work ethic, and be fully committed to Christ in their faith journeys...and along the way, they meet and talk with missionaries from around the world!

qualifications
There are many opportunities at Camp La Vida to develop leadership skills as well as learn more about missions. South Carolina WMU is especially looking for high school seniors and college-aged women who are committed Christians and want to work with children, youth and missions. All those applying must also be a member of a Southern Baptist church.
A camp staff member must be a:
mature Christian
rising college freshman or older
and an active member of a Southern Baptist church with a love for children, youth, and missions

Cabin Leader/Cabin Leader-in-Training
Lifeguard
Media/Activities Coordinator
Nature/Recreation Coordinator
Unit Leader/Program Team Member
Food Service/Sales Assistant
Pay starts at $200/week!

ORIENTATION: May 29 - June 4
CAMP SESSIONS: June 5 - June 28
WEEK OFF: June 29 - July 7
CAMP SESSIONS: July 8 - July 26
Please note: Summer staff are off some weekends. Staff must report back to camp on Sundays by 5:45pm.
